Little Known Lickle

Explore the Hidden Beauty of the Lickle Valley

Available on request.

Join me in this unique opportunity to explore this stunning hidden corner of the Lake District National Park and World Heritage Site, the Lickle valley.

This 10km route will take us to the peaks of Caw and Stickle Pike, where we'll enjoy panoramic views of the Lake District's highest mountains and the scenic Duddon Estuary.   As we journey through this stunning landscape, we’ll pause often to take in the beauty around us, with plenty of opportunities to learn and reflect.

With moderate terrain and less than 500m of ascent, this walk is suitable for a broad range of abilities. Whether you're an experienced walker or a nature enthusiast looking to explore at a leisurely pace, this guided walk offers something for everyone.

We’ll be joined by local resident Celia Caulcott who's home and historical farmstead will act as our base where.  We’ll start with tea and coffee and enjoy a hearty homemade meal after our walk.

Come and experience the magic of the Lickle Valley—a hidden gem of the Lake District!

Price: £80, including guiding, refreshments and a farmhouse lunch..
